Cookie policy
Last updated: August 2, 2026
This site uses only the cookies essential to its operation. No advertising cookies, no audience measurement, no third-party trackers. This page lists exactly what is stored on your device and why.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by the site you are visiting. It can remember a choice — your language, for instance — or recognise that you are already signed in, so you do not have to enter your credentials on every page.
Related technologies such as browser local storage (localStorage) are treated as cookies on this page where they serve the same function.
Our approach
We use only technically necessary cookies: without them, switching language or signing in to the client area would not work.
That is also why no consent banner appears: there is nothing to accept or refuse, since we set no cookies for advertising, tracking or audience measurement.
Cookies we set
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| NEXT_LOCALE | This site | Remembers the language you chose (French, German or English) so the right version is shown | Up to 1 year |
| __session | Clerk | Keeps your session alive while you are signed in to the client area | Session |
| __client_uat | Clerk | Tells the server whether a session is active, so the correct interface (signed in or not) is displayed | Session |
| __clerk_db_jwt | Clerk | Technical token used during the authentication steps | Session |
The authentication cookies are set by our provider Clerk, which handles sign-in to the client area. Their names and exact durations may change with its technical updates; details are published at clerk.com. None of these cookies is used to track you across websites.
What we do not use
- No audience measurement tool: no Google Analytics, no Matomo, nothing equivalent.
- No advertising pixel (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok Ads or other) and no retargeting.
- No embedded social media widgets: the links to Instagram and TikTok are plain links and load no third-party script unless you click them.
- No remote fonts: they are served from our own servers, with no call to Google Fonts.
Managing or deleting cookies
You stay in control: every browser lets you view the cookies that have been set, delete them and block them, either globally or site by site. These settings are usually found under “Privacy and security”.
If you block this site's cookies, you can still read the pages, but signing in to the client area will no longer work and your language choice will not be remembered between visits.
Legal basis
Art. 45c let. b of the Swiss Telecommunications Act (TCA/LTC) permits processing data on a third-party device where users are informed of its purpose and of their ability to refuse it. This page provides that information; refusal is exercised through the browser settings described in the previous section.
Cookies strictly necessary for the service requested require no prior consent under Swiss law. We set no others.
Questions
The processing of the data associated with these cookies is described in our privacy policy. For any question, contact us — our contact details are in the legal notice.
